Sue’s Suitcase Suggestion #7

Quick Travel Tip

Call your major credit card company and inform them of the dates and location of your travel plans.  This limits the chance of having any issues when trying to use your credit card when you are on vacation. Have a happy and safe trip.

Don’t forget travel insurance.

Sue’s Suitcase Suggestion #6

Tip to easily put your full wet suit on: Take a simple plastic grocery bay and put it on your foot and your leg easily slips through the wet suit.  Use on your arms too!

SAND FLEA BITES: I have not found an effective repellent, BUT I do strongly suggest you take a small bottle of Calamine Lotion with you.  Dab the flea bites with Calamine Lotion to relieve the itchiness, and prevents the bites from blistering.  Re-apply regularly.   It really helps!!

Sue’s Suitcase Suggestion #4

When travelling with your spouse/partner, divide your belongings between your luggage.  This way if one of your suitcases goes astray upon arrival at your destination,  you will have some clothes to get you by until they can locate your suitcase.

Sue’s Suitcase Suggestion #3

Identify your luggage!  Tie a distinctive ribbon on the handle of your suitcase to make identification simple as those hundreds of bags round the carousel.

Sue’s Suitcase Suggestion #2

Place a plastic dry cleaner bag over your freshly pressed clothes for a wrinkle-free trip to your destination.  It really works!

Sue’s Suitcase Suggestion #1

Keep in mind when purchasing a suitcase  to pay special attention to the WEIGHT of the suitcase.  Most airlines, especially charters, are very strict with the weight restriction of 20 kg per person, and will charge you big dollars for every kilogram you are over.  When you think you have found that ideal suitcase,  give it a lift with your finger, and you might be surprised how heavy it is when you start comparing it to others of the same size!
